Mastering AI for Content Creation
1. ChatGPT
ChatGPT is likely the foundation of your AI-based marketing efforts, but you need prompts that help avoid generic, boring language. Alicia explains that you need to train ChatGPT to produce content that reflects the style and tone of your brand, using this initial prompt:
“I would like for you to write for me as my ghostwriter. I will be giving you my bio and two [transcripts or articles] so that you can learn about me and learn my writing and teaching style and tone so that you can write for me as me. Do you understand?”
She then instructs ChatGPT to describe her writing style and tone, identify phrases that she commonly uses, and reproduce the description using first-person. When she tells ChatGPT to create the content she needs, it uses what it has learned to reflect her way of speaking and writing. To avoid repeating these steps, add your bio and a first-person description to custom instructions and click enable for new chats.
2. Content at Scale
Content at Scale is a detection tool that can tell you if your content reads like AI. For example, if you ask ChatGPT to write an email, you can use Content at Scale to evaluate it and determine whether it sounds human-generated. If the AI score is high, you’ll know that you need to adjust the content or your prompts to make your content more authentic.
3. ElevenLabs
If you want to create podcast content, ElevenLabs is a valuable tool. You upload two or three audio files of yourself, click Instant Voice Cloning, and provide a script. It will generate audio content that mimics your voice, including your cadence and intonation. Alicia recommends intentionally recording clips where you exaggerate your enthusiasm to avoid having monotone voice clones. Using this strategy has led her AI-generated podcast episodes to get more downloads than those she sits down to record.
4. Hello Audio
Hello Audio is another asset for podcasters. If you have episodes that are only available to members, customers, or affiliates, you can use Hello Audio to provide them with a special access code. This allows for exclusive content that you limit to certain listeners.
5. CapCut
CapCut is an editing tool that helps create videos for social reels. Alicia explains that she often didn’t have time to record quality videos, which made it difficult for her team to generate content consistently. With CapCut, she has seen her videos go viral, when before she would only get a few thousand views.
6. VideoAsk
VideoAsk allows you to create more interactive chatbots. You record videos that answer FAQs, and the tool searches the transcripts of those videos to push out answers to customers. Alicia has also used Video Ask to identify the questions that most customers had and update her website to address them upfront.
7. Hirevire
Alicia uses Hirevire to generate better testimonials. She sends a few questions to affiliates or customers, asking what they most enjoy about a product or service and whether they would recommend it to others. She combines those videos into one-minute testimonials for social media reels.
8. OpusClip
OpusClip can quickly produce dozens of short clips from a long video. It uses AI to find the most powerful sections of your video, add captions and emojis, transcribe them, and give you a score on how viral they’ll be. Alicia uploaded an hour-long video of herself speaking on stage and asked the tool to give her videos between 30 and 60 seconds. It generated 34 clips in 4 minutes, all of them complete with captions, thumbnails, and quality scores.
9. BHumam
BHuman isn’t a perfect tool yet, but it allows you to personalize outbound video messages. You record a video with a placeholder, such as “name,” and the software will replace that term with all the names or identifiers you upload. This allows you to customize engagement at scale.
10. HeyGen
Last but far from least is HeyGen, Alicia’s favorite AI tool. You record a video of yourself, making sure to move your head, blink your eyes, and use your hands. HeyGen uses this footage to create an AI-generated avatar of your face and read a script, incorporating the movements and gestures that you used in your original video upload. You can also use HeyGen to translate existing videos into other languages.
