Affiliate Marketing Luminary, Jeff Molander, Named Master of Ceremonies for Affiliate Summit 2006 East

Berkeley Heights, NJ – February 7, 2006 — Affiliate Summit, Inc. has named Jeff Molander, CEO of Molander & Associates Inc, as the MC for the Affiliate Summit conference to be held July 9-11 in Orlando. The Affiliate Summit, presented by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward, provides the unique opportunity for affiliate marketing professionals to gather and learn from one another in a cooperative environment.

Jeff MolanderThe Affiliate Summit 2006 East Master of Ceremonies, Jeff Molander, founded Molander & Associates Inc. in 1997 as a provider of business development and market analysis services. The consulting company recently began adding free and paid professional education products to the mix.

Since the inception, Molander�s company has served a variety of domestic, European and Asian clients ranging from start-ups to trade commissions and corporate think tank groups seeking to enter various markets.

Joining then client Performics Inc. in 1999, he helped found and grow the company which was ultimately acquired by DoubleClick in 2004. At Performics he served as Vice President/Sales & Marketing and was instrumental in taking the company from concept to start-up and finally on to an operational company � securing key management team members and helping to close two rounds of venture funding along the way. As a result of his leadership, the company works for category-leading companies such as Time Inc., Discover Card, Eddie Bauer, Joseph A. Bank, West Marine, Bose and the Orvis Company.

Molander brings over 16 years of business development experience to the table with a background spanning both the corporate and agency sectors. All told, he has served clients ranging from multi-channel retailers like Neiman Marcus, Pacific Sunwear and Eastman Kodak to direct marketers like Blair Corporation and ING Bank to CPG companies like Kraft Foods, Purina and Procter & Gamble.

Through his work as a founding Board member of the Association of Internet Professionals/Chicago, Molander was instrumental in creating the largest group of organized, active Internet professionals in the U.S. In 2004, he collaborated with a group of peers to put forward the industry’s first set of standardized performance marketing best practices via the Association of Interactive Marketing.

Molander is an accomplished public speaker receiving regular invitations and accolades from organizations like the Direct Marketing Association and the National Retail Federations’s He is frequently published in business media ranging from Business 2.0 and Inc. Magazine to trade publications like Internet Retailer and DM News.
